- The first digit indicates the Material: 8 - MonoQ
- The second digit indicates the Gauge: 2 - 2/0 USP
- The last two digits indicate the Needle Length in millimetres: 30 - 30mm
- The characters indicate the Needle Type: RC - Reverse Cutting
