CliniSolv
Violet Monofilament Synthetic Absorbable
is a synthetic absorbable monofilament suture made from a copolymer of L-Lactide and E-Caprolactone. This material is inert, non collogeneous, non antigenic and non pyrogenic. CliniSolv has a high tensile strength and a predictable absorption rate. Loss of initial strength is approximately 50% after 56 days. It is treated with a surface coating to ensure smooth tissue passage and enhance knot sliding. CliniSolv is not affected by infection, inflammatory process or exposure to protein digesting enzymes in the gastro-intestinal tract. CliniSolv is suitable where non-permanent wound support is indicated.
